Topshop & Chanel

Today for my sister's birthday dinner I went with a simple look to put together. I decided to wear a basic, black mini skirt and paired it with my favorite crop top from Topshop. To spice it up I went with a white pointed pump. At first, I wasn't sold on these shoes because I like to aim for pointed heels that show "toe cleavage," but once I tried them on and felt how comfortable they were.. I couldn't return them. Lucky for you guys, they are on sale for $20

Happy Birthday Melissa!

Fall in Summerville

Today was another beautiful day in our city. We can finally feel like Fall is here (or coming). And just like every other girl in Summerville, I am going to take full advantage of this 70 degree weather and wear my combat boots.

Next week, I am going to really see what Fall season is really about. I will be in South Carolina seeing the leaves falling and snuggling with my bestie in cold weather. I can't wait to go hiking, exploring, and sit by the fire pit. Perfect weekend awaits!

Saturday at the Museum

Today was the best day! Sometimes, living in a popular city you forget to appreciate and experience the things about it that tourists see! My friend and I went to the History Museum and it was such an amazing experience. This month they are hosting events based on the British Invasion. And along with the British theme, they are hosting a tribute to The Beatles for the next few months (ends in January). They had this whole exhibit donated from the Rock and Roll Museum in Hollywood, CA.

After the museum, my wonderful date not only took me to see The Beatles but she took me to her favorite sushi spot in Brickell, OBB Sushi. Which had this amazing view of the Key Biscayne Bridge and all these buildings. It was stunning.

What a great Saturday!

Searching for a bargain?

A few pieces of my look today were found at boutiques. I love finding things that are inexpensive and trendy. My flats were purchased at this store in Coral Way called Niki Shoes, for $5.  Most of their shoes run from $5-20. Here is their Instagram: @nikishoes
Similar store: Blueberry Shoes (Bird Rd)

I found my sunglasses on vacation in Key West on a cart on the side of the road for about $6. I was always scared of buying round glasses but I think that anything works when you wear it with confidence. For similar ones, I would search on Ebay.

Ebay is my best friend. Do you like my bag? It was $7. ON EBAY! Girl, GO!

girls and graffiti

Chelsea.

My look is really easy to put together. You just need a basic color muscle tee, high waisted shorts, and a button down. The shirt tied around your waist can/should be plaid or chambray button down, or a plain  color cotton, long sleeve. For shoes, you can dress it up by wearing gladiator sandals, or you can keep it casual with a pair of sneakers. Today, I decided to wear my favorite sneaker wedges from Ash Shoes.

Quick Tip: When ever you feel like your outfit is too simple or basic, that's a good thing! All you need is a cute handbag; or a brighter/darker shade of lipstick, and paint your nails! These little things can make your look so much more than just thereRemember: less is more!!!

Ale.

Ale's look is a mix of that vintage pin up look with today's modern style. Which is basically what style is today. Her chambray crop top expresses that 40's look, while the white pants bring today's modern look.

Elyse.

Today, Elyse wore the boots paired with a muscle tee and distressed shorts. I love this mix because all the pieces are individually edgy and it's an easy look to put together.
