My Easter Sunday

This Easter holiday, I spent the day at the beach. The weather was beautiful and sitting on the beach relaxing, with my feet in the sand, has never felt better. This much needed beach day has made me even more excited for my mini vacation to the Keys in a few weeks!

NYE Sparkle

When I think of New Years Eve, I think of sparkles. And champagne. But the most exciting thing about tonight is that this is the night to throw on your fanciest outfit. I admit, I am one of those girls who plan an outfit for New Years Eve months ahead, but I wasn't as prepared this year. I decided that I would go into this new year with a twist. Instead of wearing a new dress that will end up only being worn once, I decided to bring out some old items and make it something new. 

You might recognize the outfit from a previous post: Christmas Party. This outfit was modeled by my friend Jenny but I loved the way it looked. I love the way this top shines when you move around. I feel like dancing.

Christmas Day

This morning as soon as I woke up I rushed to my tree. The child in me hopes to find a present left by Santa while we were sleeping, but I can't complain that he didn't stop by since the rest of my presents were seriously amazing! I must be pretty easy to shop for because I got everything I could ever dream of! 

I went for a relaxed look today since I haven't been feeling very well and wore this sweater I found at TJ Maxx for less than half its original price. I have been on a hunt for a sweater like this. I suggest going to TJ Maxx if you have been too. To dress up the outfit I decided to wear my new green tote given to me by Mrs. Clause. She has great taste.

Christmas Party

Tis' the season! Its my favorite time of the year because with the holidays comes the best parties. I usually try on about ten outfits before-hand and then purchase a few new things to cement my holiday looks. The day of though, I without fail change my look to something I feel drop dead in because I know that holiday photos are memorialized on relatives' walls forever. This year in order to avoid the day-of hassle, I tried a new way of picking the perfect outfit by modeling them and snapping some quick photos with my best friend.

Holiday Party Attire

Holiday dresses should always be festive. When I say festive I don't mean they need lit up Christmas trees; I mean dark colors like black, navy, or burgundy. But I admit, an all white dress is always appropriate for Holiday parties, New Years, and even any party all year round. I would stay away from too much sequence and glitter until New Years. Arranged gift baskets can be so expensive! And most of the time they consist of a lot of paper and some chocolate. Wheres the fun in that?! My ideal gift basket would be fun, exciting to open, and original. There are so many different things you can throw together to make an original basket that you won't find in a store without spending a million dollars.

Every Holiday season, I find myself scrambling for last minute gift ideas, and many times these gifts are for office holiday gift exchanges. I added some Christmas themed mugs since I am a personally a huge fan of being able to have my coffee at home, listening to Christmas music or cuddled up on the couch watching Charlie Brown movies.
