Pumpkin Patch

Today we stopped by a Pumpkin Patch in Lexington, South Carolina. I had a blast picking out pumpkins for our front porch. This state has so many great qualities!

Peter Thomas Roth, Two

I told you guys about my favorite bath products a few weeks ago from Peter Thomas Roth; well I found my absolute, favorite product. So, we all pop pimples or zits all the time. Whether we want to admit it or not, we all do it. And we all know you're not suppose to. And sometimes we end up terminating them way before we are suppose to and we get an ugly scab on your face. Almost worse than the stupid zit. Well, I just found the world's secret to eliminating those ugly scabs in 3 days. I sound like a commercial, I should start getting paid for this.

But in all seriousness, I went to Ulta to restock up on my favorite bath products and the sales associate helping me gave me a sample of Peter Thomas Roth's Firm Peeling Gel. And I am sold. I am going to buy a full bottle as soon as possible.

What this gel does is eliminate all dead skin from your face. Which is an amazing product that you should use regularly if you have dry skin (face only). But for girls with a more oil base skin, I would use this when you have a sunburn, or when you make the mistake of trying to terminate a zit that isn't ready - scabs.

You rub this gel on your face when its dry. Continue rubbing the area or areas you need dead skin removed.  You immediately see skin being removed. Once you're done exfoliating your face, go rinse with warm water, then pat your face dry with a clean towel.

Average prices for this product are about $50. But if you're scared to buy a product so expensive before trying it out, ask any local beauty store if they have any samples. I promise you, you'll be sold once you try it. I'm bringing it with me on my cruise, so despite any sunburning, my face will look fresh and hydrated no matter how dry it naturally is.

Here are some stores you can find Peter Thomas Roth Products:

Summer Essentials

My cruise is in a few weeks and I have been shopping online like crazy. Prepping for my tropical vacation gave me inspiration to share to my readers what summer essentials are a must.

Swimwear.
Luckily, both of these tops are from Target. They are both $17.99 but I recently purchased both of these and paid $14.99 a piece.

I love how much the 40's is coming back. It's amazing how fashion from different era's come back. When it comes to the high waisted bikini, I like solid colors. Dark, solid colors slim you down while patterns can be tricky. I would stay away from a striped  high waisted bottom. They remind me of a sailor costume. These are simple and sexy. You can find so many different styles at Polyvore

Beach Towels.
I'm always buying cute towels. I was shopping for swimsuits at Forever 21 and found these super cute towels for only $10.80 a piece. I almost bought every single towel.

Beach Bags.

I love these bags. I'm obsessed with the nautical look to this Fossil Bag. And this yellow bag from Kate Spade is so cute and modern. I would even rock these bags away from the beach. Like with a summer look I would wear to eat brunch at an outdoor cafe. The Kate Spade bag cost $198 and comes in yellow or light pink.

Wedges.

Usually I update my wedges around Spring; but I felt like I needed some new black ones, and look what I found. Three gorgeous wedges from Steve Madden.

Glasses.

For some reason, lately I've been attracted to different style glasses. I like the round frame so I went crazy and ordered these glasses from Nordstrom. The pink ones are my favorite, and they only cost $54.00, Crap Sunglasses. The orange shades are Ray Bans, these usually cost $115 but Nordstrom has them on sale for $84.95.

Tees.

Casual tee's like this are awesome for summertime. Summer is all about that laid back look. You can rock a tee like this with your favorite pair of jeans or shorts. I would rock them with my favorite pair of Toms and my favorite boyfriend jeans. Both tee's are from Sincerely Jules and cost $36.

I found this top on Ria Michelle's blog and wanted it so bad. It's from Maurie and Eve and its perfect for a bikini look. I would pair it with high waisted shorts and ankle high gladiator sandals.

Shorts.

Shorts is your main staple to play around with in summer. Every girl should own a pair of boyfriend jean shorts. They are loose and comfortable and go great with just about anything. I also displayed some loose summer patterned shorts for that relaxed look.

My favorite shorts are the palm tree ones. They are from H&M and only cost $12.95. I am definitely going to stop by H&M today. The sunflower shorts are $9.95! And these well fitted boyfriend jeans are $44.95.

Flip Flops.

I found both of these flip flops at Wet Seal the other day and I don't know why I didn't buy them. I am totally going to buy them today. Putting together these summer essentials is going to help me shop for the cruise today! Yay!

Planning a Vacation

Traveling is always fun. But one of the most annoying parts of traveling (besides security check points!) is packing!! I usually repack my suitcase 3-5 times before I actually go on my trip. But where do you even start!? I have a few pointers that might help.

WHERE ARE YOU GOING?
Since I was going on a cruise to the Bahamas my first spot was my bathing suit drawer. I threw a bunch of different bathing suits on my bed and moved on to the smallest clothes I can think of. Like jean shorts, cropped tops, sun dresses, sunglasses, and sandals. Then I went to my fancier clothes and started throwing dresses, blouses, and skirts on my bed.

TROPICAL:
  1. Throw on your bed all your favorite bathing suits.
  2. Then all your other smaller clothing like jean shorts, cropped tops, sun dresses etc.
  3. Bring out all your matching sandals and favorite sunglasses.
  4. Then pull out some of your favorite night time clothing; heels included!!
  5. Start planning outfits! Try them on!
  6. Don't forget your sunblock, hair products, and make up!
COLD:
  1. Bring out all your warm clothing. Everything. You will need them.
  2. Pack more than you think you need.
  3. I wouldn't concentrate on what your top will look like with your outfit because most of the time you will be in your jacket or coat.
  4. I would focus more on your coat arrangement with your boots. Accessorize with scarves.
  5. Make sure you pack gloves, scarves, and beanies!
  6. Then pull out some of your favorite night time clothing; heels included!!
  7. Start planning outfits! Try them on!
  8. Don't forget your perfume, hair products, and make up!

ARRANGING OUTFITS:
Once I had all my staple pieces out.. I started to pick out outfits. Try things on!! You don't want to pack a bunch of things that don't match and end up wearing the same thing all weekend!
  1. Make sure you have choices.
  2. Always bring 1-2 extra dresses, shorts, tops, bathing suits, etc.
  3. Even pack a few hats and a few pairs of sun glasses.
  4. Make sure your packing the right pair of shoes. Try to aim for shoes that can be worn with multiple outfits. Shoes can get heavy.
  5. If your cruising, make sure you have sandals, wedges, and a pair of stilettos for dinner!
TRAVELING:

As you all know, when you finally board the ship your suitcases could take a few hours. If you plan on tanning while your docked you should pack a bathing suit in your carry on or purse. You also want to dress comfortably when your traveling. Whether your flying, cruising, or driving you should wear something easy to move in. Which is why I decided to wear long, loose pants.
